Further development/professionalization and standardization of compensation policies and benefits packages, conducting benchmark analysis, working on projects like international mobility and sustainability initiatives.. Just some of the exciting tasks of our new Compensation & Benefits Specialist!

You will be part of the HR team (13 colleagues) at our European Head Quarter in Eindhoven and together with 2 direct colleagues (HR Business Partners) you will report to the HR Team Manager.

The Challenge!

  • Define equitable, competitive and fair compensation and benefits packages that fit and are also in accordance with our business goals and strategies;
  • Develop consistent compensation policies in accordance with our organizational objectives and work culture;
  • Ensure that all compensation practices comply with current legislation (e.g. human rights, pay, equity etc.);
  • Drives the annual salary review process and benchmarking review for salaries and benefits packages for the EU region;
  • Conducting ongoing research about emerging trends as well as best practices;
  • Deploying sound communication strategies and measuring effectiveness by success metrics;
  • Differentiating pay systems for investing in the most promising areas of workforce;
  • Conducting various surveys for the purpose of determining benefits and pay rates and understanding the engagement and motivation of employees themselves;
  • Using various techniques and methods for making decisions on direct and indirect financial compensations as well as nonfinancial compensations;
  • Is a key contributor in the evaluation of suppliers for services such as: pension, healthcare & company cars;
  • Works on spot projects including worker international mobility, sustainability initiatives etc;
  • When needed join colleagues to engaging with the business leaders to challenge thought and provide specialist guidance.

Who are you?

Requirements:

  • A degree in business/economics, HR Management or other related fields;
  • Over 3 years' experience creating & maintaining Compensation, Benefit and/or Reward packages;
  • Experience working with international scope or within international projects;
  • Excellent language skills in both English & Dutch;
  • Experience tendering or managing suppliers of corporate services;
  • Knowledge of compensation cycle management and familiarity with C&B related labor rules/regulations.

Profile:

  • Good analytical skills and advanced excel skills, for use in financial analysis and statistical analysis;
  • Clear and impactful communication skills, shown in the ability to translate research into insights that can effectively influence commercial stakeholders.
  • An eye for detail, an accurate and methodical way of working;
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
